Class of 1967 – Jeanne Graden

After 41 years of smoking I quit in 2007, but picked them back up in March of 2008 when I went on disability due to health issues.  In the course of attempting to resolve those issues, lung cancer was found in the upper lobe of my right lung.  It was early stage non small cell (less aggressive), and operable. Had the upper lobe of right lung removed on 9/3/2008.  Three chemo treatments followed (which were not bad at all).  I DID lose my hair which is growing back in now and had my first post-surgery cat scan on the 15th of May ‘09.  Will know results on 5/29/09.  Needless to say I don’t smoke anymore.
