Class of 1976 – Teri English Glanzman passed away

I just found out about this passing: Teri Glanzman

GLANZMAN Teri “Ty Ty” Teri Glanzman, age 51, of Perrysburg, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2009, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 19th, 1957, in Toledo, OH. There are not enough words to describe such a spectacular woman. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Teri managed to impact every single person she touched, whether it was a life changing decision, or something simple like making sure sweeper lines were always in the carpet. Teri is survived by her husband, Joe; children, Justin (Annmarie) Glanzman and Tara (Steve) Gates; 5 grandchildren, Ashton, Kelsey, Landon, Blake and Taytum. Teri also leaves her mother, Nancy English; sisters, Debbie (Dale) Barnhiser, Wendy (Doug) Meier, Sherrie (John) Berry; brother, George (Shelly) English and many nieces and nephews which all adored her. Ty Ty we will miss you and you will always hold a special place with everyone you have touched. Family and friends may visit on Friday, August 7, 2009, from 2 – 9 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant, Maumee, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee.

WAGENER Mary C. Mary Cecelia Wagener, age 72, of Maumee passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010, in St. Luke’s Hospital. Mary was born in Stamford, TX on November 19, 1937, to Allen and Mary Ann (Vernon) Miller. Mary was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Maumee. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending plays and playing bridge. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Mary will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James “Guggs” Wagener; children, Kimberly Wagener, Jeffrey (Becky) Wagener and Tamara Hall and her husband, Randy; daughter-in-law, Janet Knorr; grandchildren, Jon, Jimmie, Jeff, Sarah, Rebecca, Josh, Justin, Alex, Mary and Kimmie; great-grandchildren, Jack, Ben, Zach, Aaralyn, Diego and Selena. Also surviving is her sister; Suzanne (Tom) Morgan; brother, Michael (Linda) Billmaier; brother-in-law, Richard Mullins and step mother, Audrey Billmaier. She was preceded in death by her son, James E. Wagener; sister, Martha Mullins; step father, Gerard Billmaier and her parents. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Maumee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. VANDERHOFF Sue L. Sue L. (Borgess) Vanderhoff went to be with the Lord peacefully on April 10, 2010. Born on March 19, 1945, she was preceded in death by her parents, Charles F. and Elinor M. Borgess, and her brother, James. She leaves behind her loving husband of 43 years, Jerry M., a daughter, Julie (James) Price of Pemberville; a son, Steven of Indianapolis, and three grandchildren, Delaney, Calvin and Jasper. After graduating from McAuley High School in 1963, she became an L.P.N. and married Jerry in 1966. After many years of nursing, she and Jerry pursued a karaoke business which they enjoyed for several years. She loved gardening, traveling, singing karaoke and spending time with her grandchildren. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee. A memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Promedica Hospice.
