Jeanne Schuchard passed away – Mother to Nancy ’67, Carol ’69, Mary ’72, Janet ’76, Debra ’78 and Ann ’82

SCHUCHARD Jeanne M. Jeanne M. Schuchard, age 83, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010, in the Toledo Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born February 28, 1927, in Detroit, MI, to William and Mary Charron. She married Richard Schuchard on August 6, 1948. At one time, she was very active at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Parish. She was a past president of the Rosary Altar Society and volunteered much of her time at church and school, both at St. Patrick’s and later at McAuley High School. When she wasn’t playing bingo or gambling with her husband, she spent time being a great cook and spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Burt and Tom Charron. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Richard; children, Nancy Waite, Carol (David) Steed, Mary (Randy Dinkens) Schuchard, Janet (Mike) Knorr, Debra (Richard) Harrison, Richard (Flo) Schuchard and Ann (Dave) Schaub; brothers, William (Vivian) and Edward (Diane) Charron; sister, Mary Ann (Bruce) Callawaert; 17 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren, whom she loved all the same, each in a special way. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Wednesday from 2-8p.m where a Scripture Service will held at 7p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the mortuary followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Fr. Brogan Memorial Fund or a charity of the donor’s choice.
