1972 Rita Zeller Fournier, 1976 Julie Zeller Coletta’s Mother passed away

ZELLER Antoinette (Toni) DiTerlizzi “Honey” Antoinette I. “Toni” Zeller, age 88 years, of south Toledo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 9, 2010, in the University of Toledo Medical Center. Toni was born in Toledo, Ohio, on November 25, 1921, to Mauro and Lucy DiTerlizzi. She was a kind and committed mother, grandmother, and wife. A gentle soul, who attended St. Charles Grade School and graduated from Edward D. Libby High School. She met and fell in love with Bob Zeller and they were married on October 27, 1945. She was dedicated to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Toni was an excellent cook and baker. She volunteered with many organizations in the area, but was deeply devoted to her church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Toni was a Sacristan and Past President of the Altar and Rosary Society of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She served as Head of the Bereavement Committee, was a Rosary leader, Eucharistic Minister, and served on the Art/ Environment Committee at OLPH. Toni was a member of Theta Alpha Tau Sorority, IBM Quarter Century Club, Sunshine Children’s Home Auxiliary, St John’s Jesuit Alumni Mothers Club, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary (Montfaucon Chapter #27, Toledo, OH), and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary (VFW Donald Koontz Post 11115, Maumee OH). She also served as Eucharistic Minister at The Toledo Hospital, was a Metroparks volunteer, and volunteered at the Manor House. Toni worked as a Secretary at American Brake Shoe and Foundry, was a lunchroom/playground supervisor at Beverly School, worked many years in catering private functions as well as at the Synagogues of Congregation B’nai Israel and Congregation Shomer Emunim. She also worked for her brother at Pasquale Shoe Repair until the age of 83. Toni was preceded in death by her parents, Mauro and Lucy (Saccucci) DiTerlizzi, and her sister, Virginia Rotondo. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert, children, Robert (Mary Beth) Zeller, Gregory (Denise) Zeller, Rita (Bruce) Fournier, Julie (Don) Coletta; grandchildren, Yahuda Israel, David Zeller, Michael R. (Ashley) Zeller, Michael J. Zeller, Patty Ann Zeller, Cheryl Zeller, Geoffrey (Polly) Zeller, Jillian Fournier, Jennifer Coletta; brother, Pasquale (Romelda) DiTerlizzi; sister, Lena (John) Grigore, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S Reynolds Rd., on Wednesday, October 13th, from 2-8 p.m. where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00. Funeral services will begin in the mortuary on Thursday, October 14th, at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, Waterville, Ohio. Memorials may take the form of a contribution to either Our Lady of Consolation Shrine Carey, Ohio, or to the Alzheimer’s Association , Northwest Ohio Chapter. Toni’s family would like to express their deep appreciation for the Staff at ParkCliffe Community.
