Kris writes:  … a brief update: Living in Lake Orion, MI with my husband Sean and my daughter Layne who will be a senior in high school this year.  My son Spencer attends The Ohio State University.  I currently substitute teach in the Lake Orion School District as well as tutor students in reading and writing.  I enjoy substitute teaching as it offers me a new “adventure” most every day!

I’ve recently had the pleasure of re-connecting with Michelle Irons from the class of ’83 who has SO generously shared with Lane and me her love for Broadway musicals!  Michelle has come up here to the Detroit area a number of times and we have been able to attend some fantastic performances together!  My daughter Layne is VERY impressed that I actually have a friend who is a DOCTOR!  LOL!! 🙂

Thanks to all involved with keeping the “girls” of McAuley well connected and informed!  I loved my four years at McAuley and think back on that time quite fondly!

Warmly,

Kris Wagener Murphy
