Mother of Pam Wozniak ’76 passed away

WOZNIAK Armenda Marie “Min” Armenda “Min” Marie
Wozniak, at the ripe age of 93, entered eternal rest in Georgia on Monday,
October 24th, 2011. Her former residence was Swanton, Ohio for 89 years. Min was
born on September 14, 1918 to the late Stephen Charles Degenfelder and Margaret
May Lewis. She married Leonard Edward Wozniak on June 14, 1942 who predeceased
her. Armenda Wozniak was a member of St. Richard Catholic Parish, Young at Heart
Dance Group, and the Swanton and Georgia Senior Centers. Min is survived by one
adopted daughter, Pamela Sue Wozniak of Georgia; one adopted son, Richard David
Wozniak of Ohio; cousins, Velma Hallett and Doris Durr; nieces, Robin Wozniak,
Janet Wozniak, and Sharon Burke; former neighbors and close friends, Ruth and
Jim Leary, Mike and Kelly Gelske, Patricia (Guthrie) and Bill Dick, and Dan and
Gloria McQuade. Family and friends may visit Sunday, October 30th from 1 p.m. to
3 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St, Swanton, Ohio, where funeral
services will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Deacon Joe Repka officiating. Interment
will follow at East Swanton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes
memorial contributions be made to the American Lung and
