Mother of Rose Wallerstein Timmons ’75 & Carol Wallerstein ’82 passed away

WALLERSTEIN Elaine A. Elaine Ann Wallerstein, age 81, a longtime resident of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, December 13th, 2011, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, surrounded by her family. She was born February 19, 1930, to Herbert and Eleanor (Gunderson) Giwer in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Dr. Ladislao Wallerstein and her son, David Wallerstein. She is survived by her sons, Ernest (Peggy), Richard, Stephen (Cynthia), Jerry (Nancy) and Thomas (Cassandra) Wallerstein all of the San Francisco Bay area and daughters, Rose (Ken) Timmons and Carol (Deena) Wallerstein of Adrian, MI. Also surviving Elaine are 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
