Father of Kathy Mick (77) passed away

MICK Harold E. Harold E. Mick, age 87, of Toledo, passed away Saturday July 7, 2012, at the University of Toledo Medical Center. A United States Navy veteran of WWII, he served aboard the U.S.S. Pollux. Harold was active for many years baking cookies for hospice families and volunteering for Meals on Wheels. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Pat. He is survived by his children, Larry (Sue), Maureen (Paul) Travalini, Brian (Marcia), Patrick (Kathy), Kathy (Jack) Trzcinski, and Scott, as well as 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 11:00 a.m., where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
