Helen Jarrett, age 89, of Rossford, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born on May 9, 1924, in Bellaire, Ohio to Nicholas and Eva (Pluta) Radawec. Helen married her husband, Robert on September 29, 1951. She was employed with Libbey Owens Ford Glass Company for 30 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Rossford Eagles Auxiliary, the Cullet Club, Rossford Seniors Club,

Ladies Guild and the Rosary Sodality. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.

Surviving are her sons, Robert (Caroline) Jarrett and Michael (Melissa) Jarrett; daughter, Patty Jarrett; step-daughter, Bobbie Dee (Pat) Joyce; grandchildren, Zachary, Cody, Andrew Jarrett and James Parker. Also surviving is her good friend and sidekick, Rosie Rodgers.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jarrett; parents; sisters, Julie, Kate, Mary, Anne, and brothers, Mike and John.

Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Road on Sunday, August 25, 2013, from 2-8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday at All Saints Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m., at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the church with Rev. Kent Kaufman officiating. Internment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family suggests contributions in Helen’s memory be made to All Saints Catholic Church.
