Richard “Fred”
Richard “Fred” Meyer, age 60, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Monday, September 16, 2013, at Ebeid Hospice Residence. Fred was born December 7, 1952, in Toledo to Ralph and Louise (Ulliman) Meyer. He was employed with the Nabisco for more than 13 years. Fred was an avid fisherman, excellent cook, loved animals, adventurous, compassionate and had a great sense of humor. He loved all of the Cleveland sports teams (Indians, Browns and Cavs).
Fred is survived by his wife, Michelle (Brandys) Meyer; daughter, Hannah (Austin Smith) Meyer; son, Samuel Meyer; brothers, John (Sharon) and Ralph (Maria) Meyer; sisters, Sandy (Daniel) Draper, Diane (Stan) Cooper, Kathryn Fox and Dorothy (Jeff) Mierzejewski.
The family will receive guests Thursday, September 19, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
