Mother of Karen Quinn Sarnosky ’81, Carol Quinn Bates & Cheryl Quinn Schramm ’86

Lois (Wuest)

Lois E. Quinn died peacefully on November 28, 2013. She was married to Daniel Quinn for 55 years. She taught school at St. Thomas Aquinas, Our Lady of Perpetual Help and St. Charles. She also taught C.C.D. and P.S.R. at S.T.A., St. Charles and O.L.P.H for 27 years. Lois was a Girl Scout leader at S.T.A. and O.L.P.H. She was also a member of the Twins Club since 1967 and an associate of the Ursulines. Her ministry of making prayer blankets for those in need lead to over 500 people being touched by her love.

She leaves her husband, Danny; children, Karen (Peter), Kevin, Carol (Jeff), Cheryl (Jim), Ken (Pamm), and special grandchildren, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Brendan, Anna, Connor, Lauren, D.J., Tia and Jordan; sister, Mary; brothers, Howard (Joan), Bill (Helen), Jerry (Mary), Jim (Kathy), Bob, Tom (Fran) and sister-in-law, Marilyn, and many loved nieces, nephews and friends. Lois and Dan had many foster children, including, Linda Provo and her children. Her family was the love of her life and being in charge of family reunions was her specialty.

Family and friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Sunday, December 1, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 2, beginning at 9:30 a.m., in the mortuary, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
