Husband of Catalina Leon Manion passed away

Michael Loftus
Mike Manion passed away at The Toledo Hospital, May 4, 2016, surrounded by family. He was the youngest of four, born to John and Creda (O’Neill) Manion. He was a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School and attended the University of Toledo. He was devoted to his family. Michael enjoyed writing and reading poetry. He had a unique sense of humor which carried those around him through good and bad times.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary (Manion) Shroyer and brother, Rev. Dominic Manion. “Oompa” leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Catalina E. (Leon) Manion; daughter, Sara E. (Manion) Sweet; grandsons, Broderick, Jamison and Sawyer Sweet; sister, Joan (Manion) Ray-Riley; sister-in-law, Virginia Webster; nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass in Mike’s honor will be said Saturday, May 21st, 10:00 a.m. at O.L.P.H. Church, 2255 Central Grove, Toledo.
