Jacqueline A. Kriner Obituary
A bright, shining burst of energy departed Cub Lake in Hillsdale, Michigan on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Born on February 6, 1959, Jackie Kriner, daughter of Thomas and Carol (Kenney) Kriner, struggled with cancer during her last few months continuing with her legendary wit and smile. While proving to be one of the strongest people in the world, she was generous, loving and a compete character which was part of her charm. Many have said, “She’s one in a million!”

She loved living in the small town of Hillsdale where she and her family spent many summers at Bear Lake as she was growing up. Her house overlooks the water at Cub Lake where the view gave her peace during her last few hours.

Her happiest times were being a part of the Cub Lake family of friends including Cathy Lennard who has been very supportive of her since she had taken ill. She loved her Friday nights at the Pub with “the guys” and tried to never miss it. Her famous, motorized, picnic table was the talk of the lake and once again showed her uniqueness and crazy, fun personality. Her many, many friends were a testament to her kindness and positive attitude.

The family would like to thank all of her friends that supported her over the years and made her feel special, especially Carmen and Jackie’s co-workers at Mennard’s who appreciated her spark and made her feel beautiful and important during the darkest time of her life.

Think of Jackie every 4th of July as that was her favorite holiday with boat parades, decorations and the great outfits she put together.

Jackie is survived by her 5 siblings: Patrick (Elizabeth) Kriner of Sylvania, OH, Barbara (Dan)Cummins of Maumee, OH, Connie (Lyle) Snyder of Maumee, OH, Cindy (Ken Cooper) Eberhardt of Leesburg, VA, Kelly (Michele) Kriner of Maumee, OH, 11 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews.

There will be no services or calling hours at this time for Jackie Kriner. There will be a celebration of life service at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.

Memorial contributions are suggested to The Make-A-Wish Foundation . For online condolences, visit www.eaglefuneralhomes.com.
