Beverly Mossing Welsh ’74 passed away 12/12/2005

Posted by mcauleyhighschool on April 3, 2019

Beverly Ann Welsh 6/12/56 ~ 12/12/05 Beverly returned peacefully to the arms of Jesus, while at home, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in Perrysburg, Ohio and moved to Salt Lake after High School. Bev loved the Lord with all of her heart and spread His love everywhere she went and in whatever she did. She brought laughter and joy to all her family and friends and is even now, in heaven, dancing on the streets of gold! Bev’s favorite times were with her children: Melissa, Drew and Riley and her grandchildren, Olivia and Paul Jess. She was always hosting parties, at which there was lots of good food, music, game playing and laughter. She also loved camping, water skiing, golfing and travel. Bev tended to her own garden but more especially she made sure to tend to ‘the garden of the Lord’. She was involved in many of His ministries, both through her church, as well as through her Al-Anon Family Groups. Beverly is survived by her children, grandchildren, mother, Phyllis Farrell and Bonus Dad, Mike Farrell, brother, Mark Mossing, sisters, Pamela Tillman and Dee Dee Bay (Kevin), nieces and nephews, and her many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Mossing, and her nephews: Taylor and Todd Mossing. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley Assembly of God, 4700 South and Bangerter. The family will receive friends at a viewing Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Church. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 S, Salt Lake City. Beverly’s main concern, at the time of her passing, was the continued success of her children!… and so in her honor and in lieu of flowers, we gratefully invite you to contribute to their “Education Fund” set up at Zions Bank.
