Dear sister of Patrick (Louisa), Mary (Samir) Moawad, Michael, Anne, Catherine (Richard) Druffel, Nora, Julia (Thomas) Greiner and sister-in-law, Marcella (Marcy) Nally; loving aunt to several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She worked in this field along with other jobs in retail. She moved to Cincinnati in 1972. Though retiring early due to disability, she spent many volunteer hours at Good Samaritan Hospital and the Red Cross.

It is well known that Theresa had a big heart. She never met a stranger, making friends wherever she went and willing to offer a helping hand. Kathleen Sigafoos, Tom Keller and Lil Walton were dear friends. Her greatest joy was being a doting aunt and great-aunt. Festive and fun, she enjoyed parties, holidays and dancing. For the past eight years, Theresa lived in an assisted living apartment at Hyde Park Health Center where she was loved by residents and staff alike. Theresa’s legacy that “it is courageous to have a soft heart” is a fitting tribute to her resilience, strength and kindness. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery (Toledo) at the family’s convenience assisted by Coyle Funeral Home (Toledo). Donations can be made to Hyde Park Health Center’s “assisted living residents community activities fund” HPHC Business Office (Cara Bussell), 4001 Rosslyn Dr., Cinti, Ohio 45209 or to a charity of donor’s choice. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Theresa M.
