1944 – 2021

Remembering Anne Marie (Staniszewski) Treglia is to remember a life dedicated to helping others. Born in Toledo, OH during the climax of WWII in 1944, Anne completed her life journey January 11, 2021. The daughter of second generation Polish immigrants, her Catholic upbringing highlights a life of service to community, family, and friends. Her lifelong commitment to helping, healing and supporting others began at age 13 and endured for more than 63 years. She retired as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in June 2020, but continued to volunteer as an NP at That Neighborhood Free Health Clinic and Under One Roof food pantry.

One of Anne’s greatest joys was being Nana to her four grandchildren, Abby, Joey, Alex and Tate, and proud mother of Beth (Joe) and Phil (Laura).

Those who wish to contribute on behalf of Anne’s life are encouraged to donate to Veterans Matter, The Toledo Zoo or The Toledo Museum of Art. Due to COVID-19, a virtual celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 22 at 7 p.m. ET. Please contact the family for further information.
