Peggy Overy ’64 passed away:

Peggy Ann Brochu, 76, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed into the arms of our Lord on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. She was born on May 21, 1946 to Earl and Cecelia Overy. Peggy graduated from McAuley High School and over the years worked at multiple jobs. She loved playing Bingo, Bunco and bowling. She also enjoyed her cartoons and game shows.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, sister Madonna (Hubert) Kohler and brother Raymond (Dorothy) Overy. She is survived by nieces and nephews Jeff (Doreen) Overy, Kevin (Julie) Overy, Betty Crocker, Cathy (Todd) Giesige, Cris (Dennis) Schmenk, 14 great nieces and nephews, 11 great great nieces and nephews, and 1 great nephew, along with many of her friends at Abundant Life.
Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S Reynolds Rd. on Monday, November 14, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7. The funeral will begin at Coyle on Tuesday, November 15 at 9:30 followed by the Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maumee, Ohio. Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery. Mother of Barb Less ’72 passed away

Ann Dickinson Less, 93, of Toledo, Ohio, left to be with the Lord on November 5, 2022. Ann was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 10, 1929, to Theresa Rouault Dickinson and John A. Dickinson. Ann attended St. Ursula Academy High School, graduated from Las Cruces, New Mexico High School and attended Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. Ann was always thankful for the love and support of her sister, grandparents and aunts as she grew up. On May 26, 1951, she married her beloved, Richard James Less, enjoying over 68 years of marriage. Ann was a member of the Kappa Omicron Phi sorority. Ann was a founding member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and she was an officer and president of their Over 55 Club. She was vice-president and president of the St. Luke’s Hospital Auxiliary from 1975-1979; and she was a member and officer of the Medical College of Ohio Satellites. Ann worked hard raising her family and worked with her husband at Clem Less, Inc. after her children were grown.

During their later years, Ann and Dick made their home at Genesis Village and were thankful for the friendships they formed with the residents and staff there.

Ann is survived by her sister-in-law Charlotte Troike; and children Michael Less (Joane) of Plain City, OH, Barbara Gunning (William) of Whitehouse, OH, James Less (Jeanne) of Cape Coral, FL and Robert Less (Deb) of Monclova, OH.

Ann has ten grandchildren, Stephanie (Michael) Carlin, William (Suzanne) and Charles (Anna) Gunning; Keith (Deb), Kelly and Jason Less; Celia (Dan) Wilkens, Allison (Kyle) Walker, Jennifer (Rob) Beatty, and Beth Ann (Cameron) Sloan. She has twelve great grandchildren.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband Richard, her parents, sister Mary Margaret (Leo) Koeing, and brother-in-law Roc Troike.

Visitation will be at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds, Toledo, OH 43614 on Wednesday, November 9 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. The Funeral will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Coyle, followed by Mass on Thursday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to St. Vincent DePaul Society-St. Patrick of Heatherdowns at 5201 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH 43614; or Our Lady of Lourdes – Hospitality Kitchen at 6149 Hill Ave., Toledo, Ohio 43615.
